| It all began in March 1948 when Max and Edith
Schaffer opened Schaffer Dry Goods in the small town of Ashtabula,
Ohio.
In 1953 it became known as Schaffer's Family Store.

Max and Edith's two sons, Joe and Bernie, became involved in
1960 and the name was changed to Schaffer & Sons Clothiers.

In the mid-1980s, Schaffer & Sons began expanding into the
uniform business. Now, Schaffer & Sons is solely a
uniform and logoed retail clothing supplier. Based out of Cleveland, Ohio
and Boynton Beach, Florida, Schaffer & Sons provides screened and
embroidered clothing items for retail sales as well as staff uniforms for all
kinds of businesses.
